Give me a few hours? I want to finish some things up, first. If you take a nap, time will go by faster!

[She's going to bake him something small. Cupcakes are quick and easy, and she can put fruit inside to make it a little bit better for him. Then it's off to the library to peruse the books. She used to be part of the Library Committee back in school, but that had mostly just been shelving and checking stuff out for other students, not reading on her own. She's not a big reader, truthfully. Did she read anything last year that wasn't for school...? She can't remember.

She settles on a selection of different genres. Geography of the world around them, history, fiction, biography -- they'll have to do for a start! So it's with a school bag full of books, cupcakes, and a thermos of tea that she comes knocking on Dazai's door and tenatively trying the handle to see if it's unlocked. She'd rather he not get up to let her in if he doesn't have to!]

(chuuya's out doing grocery shopping, working, something, he's sure. much like dazai, the man needs stimulation of some kind, and just being here staring at dazai's face won't cut it, and likewise to the taller man. he couldn't nap in this time, he's not particularly able to do it if there's any resemblance of light in his space - that's why completely enclosed spaces are the best best for a night of relaxation.

[She drags a chair across the room and sits down near him, opening up her bag to display The Goods. He can pick anything he likes from there.]

There's shredded apple in the cupcakes, so they're kind of good for you.

[That's definitely not true, the amount of sugar in a cupcake renders any health benefits moot, but she takes his hand in hers and just puts one of the cupcakes in it. Eat something, please.]

[She's still mad! But the kind of mad where she just wishes there'd been more that she could have done.

She sighs through her nose and sits back, crossing her feet at the ankles and shaking her head.]

[She huffs a small laugh and shakes her head at him. At least he ate it, so she knows he ate something today. He can have as many as he wants and give the rest to Chuuya, she doesn't mind.]

Thanks, but that's way too much work. How would I be able to come by and bring you snacks if I were running a restaurant?

[No no, part-time work is good enough for her. She'll have to start poking around soon.]

Really? [A little taken aback by that declaration, she just blinks at him.] There have got to be books you don't like.

There are none. I have favorites, but all in all, books, even those that are the worst in writing, are pertaining to some knowledge. Even a glimpse of how someone else sees the world is a precious thing, is it not?

Not all abilities are like mine, or Chuuya's. Some are manifestations, and Elise is one, and she's annoying. Moody, irritating, likes sweets, I can braid hair really well.
