I like spending time with my friends and learning about other people. I just want to enjoy whatever time we have together!
Live every day to the fullest! Let's explore the resort together!
I've been told I'm a good leader and listener. I'm pretty good at rescuing other people's cooking and baking disasters, and I can knit and sew. I can fight, but I'd prefer not to. My other talents are a secret. 😘
I don't really like to read, but I'll watch any kind of movie with my friends! I used to work part-time at a movie theater. I love listening to all kinds of music, especially J-pop, electronic, classical, and foreign music. 🎶
As for food... I love both ramen and sweets, but I'll try anything! Take me to your favorite food place! 😉
I like to keep my options open! 😊 Someone I can have a good time with, no matter what we're doing.
I don't really know! Buy me a drink and help me decide! 😉

So there's really no reason to dwell on it. Summoning another smile to her lips, she just shrugs, still not quite meeting Scott's eyes.]
He's from a reality where Minato was the leader of SEES, and I... wasn't there. [He's from a reality where he dies she doesn't add, her lips thinning as she takes that thought and tries to hide it behind another smile. When her Shinjiro had thought he was dying after being shot, he'd told her not to cry. So-- she hadn't.
Only when he asks her to follow his lead does she glance up, tilting her head with more than a little confusion.] ...Okay?
no subject
[It actually makes sense, because they're both Wildcards and it seems like they're always the leader when it comes to their team. So Minato and Kotone are different sides of the same coin, it's definitely interesting to think about-- although he'll do it on his own, when he's not looking at the way she's still hiding her pain behind that smile. His free hand moves up, tracing the edge of her upturned lips, before he pulls away with a small grin of his own.
But having her agreement...]
Okay, just do what I do.
[Scott sucks in a deep breath, holds it in for a few seconds, before he starts yelling loudly-- just one prolonged noise escaping his mouth. And he definitely is going to keep this up, unless she doesn't follow suit, in which he'll stop and make them try again.]
no subject
[Or something like that, anyway. She doesn't pretend to understand the intricacies of alternate realities or different worlds or any of that kind of stuff; it's enough that she and Minato both did the best they could. They're different people, even if their experiences are similar; it only makes sense that the people they knew are different, too. It's not fair to put a burden of expectation onto the Shinjiro she'd met here, even if he's so similar to her own that it hurts. Even just by telling Scott, she hopes it doesn't hold that against him. It's not Shinjiro's fault that he doesn't know her, after all!
She closes her eyes a moment when he traces her lips, relaxing just a little with that tender touch. There's a touch of something more genuine to her smile as he pulls away, a grateful recognition of the comforting gesture for what it is -- then she blinks with some confusion when he takes a deep breath, tilting her head curiously.]
...!!
[Kotone doesn't startle easily, but having Scott suddenly yell in her face is enough to spark an involuntary yelp, her eyes going wide as she just gapes at him for a second. It takes her a moment, but... well, he'd told her to follow his lead, right? As weird as it feels, she takes a deep breath -- then expels it in a soft laugh, shaking her head.]
You're gonna make your neighbors mad!! [It doesn't feel right to just yell like this, after all! She claps her free hand over his mouth with another helpless laugh.] It's okay. Really.
[Just having Scott there with her trying to make her feel better is more than enough. The pain doesn't disappear, but it makes it easier to push away.]
no subject
...Still. Her laugh is a nice sound and he thinks it's still genuine in its own way, but also not exactly what he was going for.
So, he pokes her!! Come on, she has to try harder than that!! Although, he can't but laugh along with her even with her hand covering his mouth, the sound loud and genuine and they're definitely making his neighbors mad, but he doesn't give a rat's ass about that. The only thing that matters to him right now is the girl in front of him. He pulls away just slightly so that her hand isn't covering him anymore, though he predictably reaches up to take it within his own. Yeah they're lying on his bed, side by side with their hands clasped together, but it's fine.]
You barely tried! [Huff.] Do I have to make it an order from Cyclops? Because I don't care about my neighbors, I care about you.
no subject
Maybe that's why she doesn't fight back when he takes her hand in his, instead leaning in just a little closer to replace her hand with her lips in a gentle, chaste kiss as if to offer a wordless thank-you. She glances up to meet his eyes as she draws back and gives him a small, sincere smile. It's obvious he's trying to cheer her up, and she appreciates the effort.]
I care about you, too, Scott, [and there's maybe a bit too much genuine sentiment in that admission when he's joking about an order from ~Cyclops~] So... it's okay. I'll be okay. Promise.
[She squeezes his hand in hers, leaning in one more time to instead press a more playful kiss to the tip of his nose.] So no more yelling!
no subject
I care about you too, Kotone. A lot. [One of the most important people that he cares about at all, probably. Including his friends back home.]
...And I know you'll be okay in your own way, but don't forget that I'm here too. If you need to talk. Or vent or cry-- I know girls cry. It's okay.
[Or even eventually yell right into his face in return!! Though he doesn't bring that up again, his expression a little more serious. Worried. All of those feelings directly only at her because well, she's always made him feel a bit more emotional even though he should be controlling himself better in some ways. He's going to be the leader of the X-Men someday, he's training for it.
And while he does feel like a leader around her sometimes, he also enjoys be more normal around her too. Both 'Cyclops' and Scott Summers, whatever that is. Whatever that may mean in the future.]
no subject
She closes her eyes when he tucks her hair behind her ear, the lightest of pink flushes rising to her cheeks with the motion. Not just sweet, but kind of charming too, huh...? She really did get lucky meeting someone like him in a place like this.]
Senpai-- my senpai -- told me not to cry, [she confesses quietly, opening her eyes and offering a resigned little smile.] But... thanks for letting me talk about it.
[It's vulnerable and uncomfortable, opening up about herself and her feelings like this, but Scott's more than proven she can trust him with this. She squeezes his hand, then finally tries to wiggle free, signaling this part of the conversation is over, at least to her.]
But you wanted to see my Personas, right?
no subject
...Never mind the fact that it was him that cried in front of Jean and she comforted him. Or that he's never seen Ororo cry about anything and would probably kick his ass if she knew his thoughts. Look he knows when he's outmatched and saying that he might lose to someone that can control the weather doesn't feel shameful.]
Well, I'm telling you that you can cry, if you want. [Especially since she is dealing with a lot of hard shit-- being forgotten. Her senpai being from a reality where she doesn't exist, or they never met. Shit.
But he doesn't push the topic too much, going along with Kotone's change in topic. And well, he can't deny that he is excited about this too. Seeing her Personas-- the power that represents her, the weird demons that are somehow a reflection of her soul. Yeah he luckily got most of that lore from Akira.]
Yeah, I do. [Something a little more playful enters his voice, the teen letting her go as he smiles at her.] I wanna see if they're super weird like you.
no subject
I think you like weird things, Cyclops! [she retorts easily, still offering the Evoker for him to take if he wants.] Has Mitsuru-senpai told you about how it all works? 'Cause it's a little different for us than for Yu or Akira.
no subject
And this would be the first time he'd see someone from Kotone's world to summon their Persona.
He takes the gun from her, lightly holding it as he turns it around, treating it as something special, like it's his own visor or sunglasses. Well, she needs it, that much is true.]
Mmm, yeah. She mentioned that you need to use this Evoker to summon your Personas.
[He does not know how the Evokers are used though... but with an encouraging smile, he holds it back to her.] Didn't see her use it though. Could you show me? How about your favorite Persona?
no subject
At least Mitsuru had talked about it, though! That makes it easier.]
My favorite? [she echoes, taking back her Evoker and tilting her head with a curious hum. Does she have a favorite Persona...? All of her Personas have a link to someone important, or have their own unique skills, or are useful in different situations. If she had to choose only one to keep in her heart...]
Orpheus Telos, then, [she decides finally after a long few seconds spent gazing down at the Evoker. He's the Persona she got from befriending everyone, after all; what is Orpheus Telos if not a living memory of all the friends who'd helped her along her journey?
Taking a deep breath, she brings her Evoker to her temple, her other hand clutching the fabric of her shirt above her heart. Almost without realizing it, she breathes the simple word,] Persona, [and pulls the trigger on the Evoker. Her head snaps sharply sideways with the impact, wreathed in blue flames, before falling away to reveal Orpheus Telos drifting gently behind her.]
no subject
But for now, he watches her. His breath held in his chest as she brings the Evoker up, curious and a little excited to see what this Persona may look like and-- UH HEY WAIT???????? UM??????]
Kotone--
[Scott jolts a little next to her, instincts getting him to move, but even then he's still too late as she pulls the trigger with a loud crack, and suddenly there's Orpheus Telos floating right beside her and looking huge and it's honestly kind of cool, even cute in its own way, but he's still mostly focused on the fact that she shot herself in the head. His jaw is probably hanging, though Scott doesn't really seem to notice, lacking any of the cool that he normally tries to show around her. Yeah he isn't even trying.
The mutant's just standing with that poleaxed expression.]
You shot yourself in the head! [Yep, first thing out of his mouth, and still so so shocked. He thinks he's pretty used to strange things at this point, but...
There's also that worried little frown at him. Some amount of logic and understanding is returning to him, telling him that this is how her powers work, but he thinks he's allowed this reaction first.]
Are you okay???
no subject
[She lowers the Evoker and checks behind her, making sure that -- yeah, that's Orpheus Telos, alright! He does look different from the Orpheus she'd first awakened, but that doesn't make him weird, does it...? Her confusion only lasts a moment before Scott continues, expression clearing with understanding, if not sympathy.]
Oh. Yeah! Mitsuru-senpai didn't tell you?
[Also Scott had held her Evoker, what did he think she was going to do with it...? Well, that's not too important; even she knows how difficult it can be for someone to use their Evoker for the first time, or even subsequent times after that. If it were easy, summoning their Personas probably wouldn't work...? That's the difference between her and Minato, and Yu and Akira. Summoning their Personas seemed to be easier for them, at least how they described it.
Orpheus Telos, for his part, looks impassively unimpressed, gazing down at Scott as if waiting for Kotone to give the order to either protect him or attack him. Whichever would be fine.]
Are you okay...?
no subject
[His voice changes to a higher octave, almost squeaky, because like. That's pretty fucked up, right? He assumed that when Mitsuru told him about summoning Personas with her Evoker, she just pointed it ahead and shot the Persona out or something. It makes more sense to him than SEES just shooting themselves in the head with it!! That's a normal assumption to make!!
But. Okay, deep breaths. Especially since Kotone looks pretty worried about him. Plus, she's okay, she isn't hurt, she isn't bleeding out in front of him from shooting herself in the head. No, nothing like that. Her Persona is hanging out like it should be, and different from anything Akira or Yu has shown him.
A big exhale rushes out from his mouth.]
Yeah, I'm okay. [Scott shuffles slightly on his feet, looking a little awkward for a moment, before just pushing through.] You're okay? Did that hurt at all? The Evoker was developed by a group, right? They could've made it so that you didn't have to summon Personas like that.
no subject
[She still seems remarkably calm about it all, holstering her Evoker and taking a few steps forward, cupping Scott's cheek in one hand as if to center his attention on her and prove that she's standing right in front of him, unharmed and unafraid. His skin is warm beneath her palm, her fingers cool but not the bone-numbing cold they've been before as she tilts her head and offers him a smile.]
I'm okay. Promise!
[She pats his cheek lightly and spins on her heel, coming to stand beside Scott so they can look up at Orpheus together.]
I don't think they could, [she answers thoughtfully, gazing up at her Persona. Orpheus Telos is different from her initial Orpheus, the one she'd awoken to first, but it's hard not to remember that night, confronted with the Magician Shadow under the light of that eerie full moon.] Yu and Akira are leaders of their own teams, right? And their teams have special conditions for summoning their Personas. For us...
[She trails off, looking back up at Scott again, this time with more concern.] Are you sure you want me to explain? Mitsuru-senpai could probably do a better job.
no subject
As she comes to stand by him, with the both of them looking at Orpheus Telos, he lets his fingers slide into hers before gripping them lightly-- though secure in their own way. It's not like they're facing a threat, far from it, but it still feels like he is facing something important and he wants to be there for her.
And maybe he needs the contact for himself too.]
It really has to be that way...?
[He doesn't fully understand the significance for Yu and how he summons his Personas yet, something he wants to ask later, but he remembers Akira mentioning about ripping a mask off and facing society.
But still looking at the summoned Persona, Scott shakes his head at her question.] I don't want to hear it from Mitsuru, I want to hear it from you.
[A little pushy, with emphasis on that last bit, because while he likes Mitsuru, he really wants to hear this from her.]
no subject
His tone almost makes her laugh, and if he hadn't reacted so poorly to her using her Evoker, she might have teased him about another "order from Cyclops." Considering how he'd taken it, though, maybe she owes him a truthful answer...? At least as much of one as she can give, leaving her humming thoughtfully as she tries to find the right words.]
I was told a Persona is a mask you wear to face the outside world. It's a part of your innermost self, strengthened by the bonds you form with others.
[Scott's holding one of her hands, but she reaches up with the other, Orpheus Telos obediently drifting down and inclining his head so Kotone can pat the top of it.]
To be able to summon a Persona, you have to have the potential. [She pats Orpheus' head one more time, then allows him to drift more comfortably to his usual imposing height, glancing sideways at Scott.] And you have to remember that you'll eventually die.
no subject
There's a touch of a smile on Scott as he watches Kotone reach up to Orpheus Telos, the way she pats its head and just the way she seems so connected to it. Guess it was pretty mean to ask her to choose her favorite Persona when she has so many of them, huh? They all probably represent her in different ways, but he can't help but feel extra pleased-- warm to know that she is showing him the one that she likes the most. It makes Scott want to really memorize everything about the floating Persona, maybe even touch it too.
Maybe a hand is already reaching out to it, the one that's not gripped in Kotone's. But before he makes contact--]
Wait, what?
[At least his outburst isn't as dramatic as before, though he still stops straight in his tracks with his head turned to her-- his mouth parted in surprise. Guess it's surprising Scott Summers day!! He sort of figured that maybe SEES summons Personas for different reasons, they are a different group after all, but to hear that.]
So you're thinking 'memento mori' every time you use a Persona?
no subject
["I think," she says, as if the idea of shooting herself in the head isn't actually that scary or stressful, but like, don't worry about it.
Anyway, she'd seen the way Scott was reaching for her Persona; a glance toward Orpheus, a friendly tilt of her head, and the Persona obligingly moves forward to kneel on one knee before Scott, unblinking eyes fixed on Scott's glasses.]
I am Orpheus, Master of Strings. [His mouth doesn't move as he speaks, the sound instead coming from two speakers embedded in his chest. His voice sounds almost like Minato's, almost like Kotone's, a subtle combination of the two that could be mistaken for a completely independent voice.]
no subject
But guess there's always some element of fear when facing something dangerous. Although it doesn't feel the same exact thing, not even with how uncontrollable his powers can be.
Scrunched face. Yeah, that's happening, at least until Orpheus comes a bit closer and sure he can use this distraction. Honestly, dealing with a floating robot that has a harp on its back feels easier. He reaches down to pat the Persona on the head, letting his hand rest on him. He might be smiling, just a bit. Look, he can't help it, because in a way... he's connecting with a part of Kotone's soul.]
Orpheus, huh? Cool. I like your speakers. [Although, his voice sounds... kind of familiar? A mix of two voices that's causing that familiarity but also unique in its own way. He doesn't know how to really explain it but he wouldn't mind hearing more.]
I'm Scott, Scott Summers. Kotone is my number one fan.
no subject
I dunno how much you know about the myth? His head got removed. So the speakers are how he can talk!
[The myth didn't say anything about speakers, but it's okay. Kotone doesn't think too hard about that kind of thing, instead turning a fonder smile on her Persona as he rises smoothly back up and drifts again in the air between them.]
My original Orpheus that I awakened to was a girl. This is Orpheus Telos. He was formed from the strength of my bonds with all of my friends. I couldn't have made him if I hadn't met everyone last year.
[The smile she turns on Scott is equally fond, implying that had he been in Tatsumi Port Island, he definitely would have been one of the bonds that helped form Orpheus Telos.]
no subject
Seriously, Kotone? All your Persona stuff is uh, pretty hardcore...
[He thinks that's the best way to describe it??
Since he doesn't know edgy. But really, between the whole shooting yourself in the head thing, memento mori, and her Persona's myth revolving around getting his head removed... it genuinely is pretty intense? And maybe a song that Iron Maiden would create. On one hand, he thinks it's pretty cool, but on the other hand, it's maybe just a bit worrying. But maybe that just correlates with how he feels about her anyway, just always... kind of worried for her but thinking she's warm and cute and she makes him feel so--Anyway.
A small 'hmm' leaves Scott as she reveals to him that her original Orpheus was a girl. He wonders why she changed to a boy??]
So, does that mean you think boys are stronger than girls? [He teases, though seeing that smile directed straight at him... he almost immediately smiles back, the look just as fond. So her favorite Persona is the one that represents the friendships she's made with everyone. Yeah, that really sounds like her.] But thank you for showing me a piece of your soul.
[Is he flirting? Maybe. But since it's Scott... he can't help but be a little sincere as well, with the mutant looking up at Orpheus Telos and raising his hands upwards towards his face. Huh, looking at him like this, his face just looks a little familiar... but he just raises himself on his tiptoes so that he can kiss the Persona against his still lips.]
no subject
[So she probably shouldn't tell him that the reason his head was ripped off was because his whole body was ripped apart, huh? Or that the more relevant part of his myth is tied to not looking back on death and only moving forward?
She sticks out her tongue at him, because no! Of course boys aren't always stronger than girls! Orpheus stirs slightly in response to the passing thought of her swapping him out in exchange for a Persona with higher strength, but Kotone just shakes her head, more curious about Scott moving forward than she is committed to summoning another Persona for the bit.
Her hand goes to her heart when he reaches up to cup Orpheus' cheeks, feeling an almost phantom touch against her own cheeks. She can't exactly feel everything that her Persona does, not in the same way, but she can definitely sense something. Her own cheeks flare a soft pink, lips parting slightly at the sensation of him kissing a piece of her soul. Her fingers curl into her blouse, and she can only laugh a little breathlessly as she watches the two of them together.]
I'm over here if you just wanted a kiss, you know, [she teases, though the burning in her cheeks isn't subsiding.] Or I could summon a sexier one for you!
no subject
Mostly because it felt just a little awkward and he's never really gotten this close with one before, only seeing them briefly because of some shit happening in the casino or his friend just showing off. This time though... it feels okay, almost right, even though his lips mainly touch an unmoving mouth that doesn't return his gesture. That's okay. He's probably just confusing poor Orpheus.
Besides, as he pulls away, hands dropping from the Persona's face, Scott notices the light flush to her cheeks and that's what he was sort of aiming for in the first place. Connecting with her powers, with her, and that's more than enough warmth to make up for how cold Orpheus may be. He smiles before letting out a small laugh.]
Did you feel that at all? [A lighthearted question, though he is interested in hearing her actual answer.] But you don't have to summon a sexier Persona when you're here. Unless you got another favorite you just wanted to show me.
no subject
I think so, kind of. [Her eyes sparkle, and she crooks a finger, inviting him to step closer.] Maybe you should kiss me so I can compare!
[Asking him twice now for a kiss... how many times does she have to ask, Mr. Summers!] Anyway, they're all my favorite, but some of them are really hot. [She tilts her head with a grin.] I could show you!
