I don't really like to read, but I'll watch any kind of movie with my friends! I used to work part-time at a movie theater. I love listening to all kinds of music, especially J-pop, electronic, classical, and foreign music. 🎶

So, which arcana am I?
[Akira mentioned that he's 'hierophant' to him, and apparently some old guy that watched over him back home shares that same arcana. Which. Feels kind of insulting??? WHY DOES HE SHARE THE SAME ARCANA AS AN OLD GUY?? Although Akira has a really close bond with him... so it feels a little less bad.]

The arcana represent the people you encounter along your journey, [she explains thoughtfully, tilting her head to really look him over and give him an answer he deserves. Who would Scott be for her? Normally Theo would just tell her, right when she made a new friend, but she'd already said her good-byes to her Velvet Room attendants. They'd left her before she'd even arrived here.] For Wildcards, that means the stronger the bond you create with those people, the more powerful your Personas will become. It's a whole thing!
[But who is Scott to her? Her hand goes to her heart as she mentally cycles through the Personas she has with her, eventually settling on one she'd already mentioned before, Helel. Scott really does remind her of Akihiko, in a way, filling a similar role. So maybe,] So... the Star, I think! A guiding light leading the way through the darkness.

The Star, huh? [Scott repeats the arcana that she's given him, one hand lifting to his chin as he thinks about this role. Well, honestly, he already likes it a lot, it sounds pretty good to him! A guiding light through the darkness... and more importantly, that's how she views him.
He flushes just a little, though he tries to keep that ongoing snark.]

[His flush is cute... with her Evoker holstered, Kotone can reach up with both hands to cup his cheeks, grinning at the flush. Aaw, is he embarrassed?? Cute! Although he does kind of ruin the cuteness a little by opening his mouth again, so she squishes his cheeks together and laughs.] No!
Maybe it's more like leading by example? Instead of giving orders.
[She shifts her grip on his cheeks to instead drape across his shoulders, grinning up at him.]

[He's mostly joking, but if she really views him as the Star... he doesn't want to fail her. It's important, no matter how much they're teasing each other about this. It's still a connection to her powers and thus it's important to him. It's part of his duty as a leader to always be aware of these kind of things.
He settles his hands on her hips though, feeling that's the natural thing to do as she drapes her hands across his shoulders.]
Oh, Akihiko? Yeah, we jumped out of a ferris wheel together. He's pretty cool.
[He doesn't know the other teen that well yet, but he seems nice?? Dependable. Definitely has a good swing with his fists. He can see why he would also be a guiding light for her.] A lot of your teammates are arriving in this place lately, huh?
[A slightly wistful look, but he is happy for her and Minato.]

[Oh. Well, she shouldn't be surprised that Akihiko and Scott combined were able to jump out of the Ferris Wheel. She'd just jacked him off--
But she's clearly pleased to know that Scott's met her other not-her-senpai; she'd been close to Akihiko, too, but not in the same way as Shinji, so while there's still a sadness present in her eyes, it's not nearly as intense as when they'd talked about her current roommate. There's a part of her that wants to argue, because Akihiko and Shinjiro aren't part of her team, nor is Minato, but-- that doesn't matter, really. It shouldn't matter. More importantly, she can't miss that wistfulness in Scott's face, and she tilts her head with a soft hum.]

What if a Jean or Kurt arrived in this world and they didn't know him? Or... he was just different in their world? Hell, maybe he's a girl named Sally in theirs!!]
Huh? Oh... yeah. [He's snapped out of his thoughts as Kotone speaks first. She beat him to it this time.]
But they're definitely still waiting for me and everything back home. And I have all my friends here. [That's what he's been telling himself lately, especially as the months tick by. Some thoughts have appeared in his mind that the X-Men have moved on without him, found a new leader or someone to replace him. It's not like he'd want them to not help people around the world just because he's not there.
But it's still a hard feeling to deal with, even as he tries to just look unaffected by his own thoughts.]

I know they must be! [she reassures him quietly, tilting her head with a smile. Even if there's someone else acting as leader while he's gone, she's certain they'll accept Scott back the moment they're able to.] Nobody can replace Cyclops.

Are you sure that you don't have telepathy?
[He teases lightly, but also telepathy is just something he's all too familiar with. Jean is his closest friend and the girl he has a crush on back home, the only other mutant in their team that sometimes struggles with control. Every so often she still reads his thoughts but he doesn't mind it as much anymore. They're teammates and everything.
He really does miss her, probably the most out of everyone.]
...But thanks, Kotone. It's just sometimes... kind of hard to think about, you know? I finally found something I wanted to do with my life back home and I was training really hard with the others, but then I end up in a sex casino.

[She huffs a small laugh, scrunching up her nose. The idea of reading everyone's thoughts... no thanks! Even if it might make it easier to help people, it seems like it would be awfully noisy. As it is, she's lucky her Personas aren't usually yappers.
Continuing comb her fingers through his hair, she hums again, more in acknowledgement than any desire to interrupt. It sounds like Scott really was only at the beginning of his journey, huh? Or at least, closer to it than she was. Maybe she'd have a harder time being here if she didn't know what awaited her. All of this here, good and bad, is just extra time she shouldn't have been allowed. But for Scott...]
You'll just have to keep training while you're here. That way you'll be able to impress everybody on your team with how strong you are when you go back!
[It doesn't make it better; she knows it doesn't. But those aren't the kinds of feelings that can go away with just a word, nor should they be something he should try not thinking about. It's important to keep those memories dear, she's pretty sure.]

He wonders if that's a bad thing, that he should be trying a little bit harder to appear unaffected and cool about stuff. A leader should be something like that, right? Although, it's sort of hard to keep those things hidden when there's a literal telepath back home-- but what is his excuse here? He really doesn't have one, other than just finding comfort in being able to tell Kotone stuff. She just makes it feel okay to have these sort of feelings.
Plus he likes the way she's combing through his hair, head relaxing against her touch. Look if she's going to do this while he talks about some of the stuff bothering him, why resist??]
Want to start training with me? Especially since you got your Evoker back. It'd be good for me to face the leader of SEES.
[His eyes glint behind his shades, teasing but also an actual challenge being readied at her. He knows that she's strong, probably been through more things than him, which is why he wants to do this. Plus... if they ever need to fight together in the future, this would help too.]

I wouldn't use my Evoker against you, [she says finally, brows furrowed just a touch.] I've never used a Persona against someone who doesn't have one... I know you're really strong, but I'd be worried about hurting you.
[Personas absorb a certain amount of damage from attacks; dropping a Megidolaon on Scott sounds like it might kill him. She doesn't have to look any further than Shinji to know what happens when a Persona is used against another person.]
When we trained with our Personas, we never fought each other. Just Shadows. [She brightens soon after with a realization.] If you want me to hit you with a hockey stick, though, I can do that!

[Or are all of her attacks just... kill on sight? That's kind of intimidating! But also kind of hot?? Yeah, that thought is definitely appearing in his mind-- what?! He knows that Jean is way more powerful than him, she's the one that fucking disintegrated Apocalypse with her powers. He ain't messing with that. Although, she still has enough control where she doesn't have to go all out all the time. Not to mention... it sort of strains her. They can't just rely on sending in the nuke option each time.
But he moves one hand from her hip, moving up to stroke along the back of her head as well until his fingers settle warmly against her nape.]
We can start with you fighting with a hockey stick though. Just be prepared to lose all the time.

All of my Personas are the ones I brought with me for... [she hesitates, weighing her words for a moment, and consciously choosing not to call it their final battle.] A really tough fight! I don't think Personas know how to hold back.
