I like spending time with my friends and learning about other people. I just want to enjoy whatever time we have together!
Live every day to the fullest! Let's explore the resort together!
I've been told I'm a good leader and listener. I'm pretty good at rescuing other people's cooking and baking disasters, and I can knit and sew. I can fight, but I'd prefer not to. My other talents are a secret. 😘
I don't really like to read, but I'll watch any kind of movie with my friends! I used to work part-time at a movie theater. I love listening to all kinds of music, especially J-pop, electronic, classical, and foreign music. 🎶
As for food... I love both ramen and sweets, but I'll try anything! Take me to your favorite food place! 😉
I like to keep my options open! 😊 Someone I can have a good time with, no matter what we're doing.
I don't really know! Buy me a drink and help me decide! 😉
.02 CLOWNS OR MIMES
Do most people have an opinion on this? 🤔
.03 SHOWER OR BATH
Bath! but shower first, then relax in the bath for like an hour 😊
.04 PIRATES OR NINJAS
Ninjas seem cooler 😄
.05 TITS OR ASS
👍
.06 COFFEE OR TEA
Both! It depends on who I'm with what kind of drink I'll order!
.07 SPICY OR SWEET
I don't mind spicy food, but I definitely prefer sweet.
.08 SUMMER OR WINTER
Summer! I like going to the beach and being outside. Winter can be tough.
.09 LEATHER OR LACE
👍
10. ROUGH SEX OR GENTLE SEX
Let's try both and find out. 😉

Me neither! [she agrees, tearing her eyes away from one of the stages to instead give Akira a bright grin, her eyes all but sparkling.] But it's not so bad now that we're inside, right? Let's go check out the discounts!
[Discounts on drinks, sure, but she's hoping there's discounts on food, too. Beyond that, it's just exciting to explore a new place with a friend she can trust at her side, and she tugs his hand a little, trying to lead him toward the bar.]
no subject
[. . .]
[Akira's eyes flicker towards the stage for just a brief moment, where he is met with curvaceous lines and smooth skin, against which delicate lace slides as certain undergarments are deposited onto the floor--]
[NOPE. TIME TO LOOK AWAY AGAIN. his gaze snaps back towards Kotone, matching her grin with one of his own, though the red in his cheeks is evident even in the dim club lighting]
S-- sure! [he wasn't peeking no ma'am not even a little bit] I used to work at a bar back home, though I wasn't allowed to serve the drinks.
[Lala-chan was very strict about underaged drinking on her premises]
no subject
Hi!! Two house specials, please!!
[Does she know what the "house special" is? Is she even going to try to find out? Absolutely not -- the mystery is part of the fun!
Without letting go of Akira's hand, she leans back against the bar, grinning up at him. The red lighting here suits him, she decides, her eyes flicking over his face -- and then over his shoulder, her jaw dropping a little bit because,] Wow!! Look!
[She points with her chin at the very same person who'd dropped that lacy undergarment, leaning closer to Akira on tip-toes just to get a better look over his shoulder.] Doesn't that look kind of fun?
[And then a glance back to him, her lips curved into a more mischievously playful smile.]
no subject
[. . . a little taste couldn't hurt. not when he isn't alone!! and not when Kotone is so jazzed about it. seriously, her energy is contagious. it makes it hard for him to be mad at the workers who shoved them in here]
[she flashes him a grin, studying his features, and Akira opens his mouth with a clever, teasing quip of his own. . . which immediately dies on his tongue the moment she points out the stripper he had not-so-subtly glanced at earlier. HELP. . .]
Fun??
[oh my god. the mischief in that smile. he's going to die. NEVERTHELESS. . . he musters up the courage to lift a hand and gently boop her nose, hoping to make her go (cutely) cross-eyed]
Fun to watch? Or fun to try?
[play it cool, Akira. play it cool!!]
no subject
So of course, she sticks out her tongue a little, tilting her head without losing a hint of the mischief.]
Yes!
[Watching, trying, either the stripping or the pole-dancing, all seems like fun to her. Maybe a little embarrassing, too, but she knows more than anyone that they all only have a finite amount of time. Why not try as many new things as possible?
Plus, if she can fluster Akira or make him laugh, that's worthy enough!]
no subject
[but Kotone. . . she's so easygoing and playful, sticking out her tongue at him after he boops her nose, and Akira can't help but laugh as the tension fully evaporates from his shoulders, leaving him far more relaxed and ready to enjoy whatever trouble they are bound to get into]
You're pretty brave, Kotone-senpai. [a call back to the conversations that led them here] Maybe I could learn a lot from you.
[Hmmmm, well if you're that eager to t~ry. . . comes the foreign voice of the bar tender, who is sliding them both bright neon drinks. Kotone's is a cute pink! Akira's, on the other hand, is a deep orange-red. also: what the heck, who gave the bartender the right to eavesdrop? There are some private rooms in the back with everything you might need ♥]
Oh-- uh. . . [Akira hesitates, giving Kotone a curious glance, unwilling to answer for them both]
no subject
Yeah, let's! [she agrees without any further consideration, pumping her free hand in the air with a bright smile. The bartender is, of course, more than happy to point them in the right direction, but Kotone drifts closer to Akira instead of bulldozing straight ahead.]
Maybe there'll be snacks! If the back rooms have ~everything~
[She laughs again, clearly not taking a single thing about this situation seriously.]
no subject
[. . . something flutters in his stomach like a pack of butterflies. nerves, perhaps? a bit of curious excitement? it's hard to say. it's not a bad feeling, that's for certain. Akira's smile is genuine as Kotone drifts closer, as he peers over her shoulder towards the illicit back rooms]
They'd better. I think we're going to need a few to keep our energy up.
[Lala-chan always scolded her customers when they didn't eat enough before drinking! and while Akira does not intend to go overboard-- he probably won't even finish what was given to him-- that advice still lingers in the back of his mind]
Shall we?
[he holds one (damp, from the glass) hand out to Kotone to escort her to the back rooms]
no subject
Such a gentleman, [she teases, giving him one more smile before turning to start leading the way, fully intending to pull him behind her. She's at least pretty good about weaving through the crowd, twisting this way and that around dancers and partiers without bumping into any of them. The rhythmic beat of the music and the sway of the dancers is intoxicating, a heady blend of sights and smells and sounds that's a pure reminder that right now, she's alive. They both are.
Coming to one of the private rooms indicated, she swipes her watch to see if it unlocks -- it does! Lucky! -- before turning back to Akira with another bright smile.]
Ladies first! [she laughs, pushing the door open and tugging him inside after her. At first glance, she doesn't think it's all that remarkable! For a relatively small room, they have packed quite a lot inside it, so maybe the bartender was right! What catches her attention, more than the cozy mini-stage with a pole for a private dance, more than the open closet displaying various different sexy costumes perfect for or giving that pole a try or just dancing to the music still clearly audible from outside, more than even the plush-looking booth seating, are the appetizer plates laid out on the table in front of the booth.]
Look! Snacks!!
[She lets go of his hand to beeline for the small bites, setting her drink down on the table and plopping down into the booth with a delighted laugh.] No need to worry about stamina!
[Look, if he can make a joke about keeping their energy up, she can make a joke about SP. Equivalent exchange!]
no subject
[but before he can, Kotone takes his hand bravely in hers. . . and they're off! Akira follows Kotone with ease and the experience of a man who has fought and conquered the dense Tokyo crowds, a smile dancing on his lips as he watches his companion twist her way past obstacle after obstacle. Akira has only known Kotone for a short time, but the confident and self-assured way she drags (and occasionally bosses) him around is. . . kind of charming. it's a good look on her. and it's kind of exciting, to allow himself to be swept away with her whims. especially since that doesn't happen with him very often]
[the private room isn't too far away, and with a cheeky remark and a smile, Kotone drags them both inside. she might be focused on the snacks first, but Akira's gaze immediately snaps towards that stage-and-pole combo (OH. . . THE BARTENDER WASN'T KIDDING. . .), with the closet of sexy costumes coming in a close second]
[his heart skips a beat in his chest]
-- stamina?
[oh. right. snacks!! snacks and stamina!! Akira had been so distracted that he missed the way she had let go of him to admire the food. with a breath, he forces himself to relax again, before he meanders over to plop down into the booth right next to Kotone]
No need to worry about grumbling stomachs, either.
no subject
["Stamina." She doesn't elaborate, though the sparkle in her eye hints that she knows exactly what it sounded like and isn't going to apologize at all. It's funnier this way!
Waiting until Akira sits beside her, she picks up her drink and offers it to him with another laugh.]
Cheers! [before taking an experimental sip. It's a weird mix of sweet and bitter, with a little tingling burn across her tongue -- which is kind of fun, but fine, she guesses. The canapes look way more exciting, so she grabs one of those and pops it into her mouth. Unfortunately, she doesn't finish chewing before asking,] So what do you think?
[She at least does cover her mouth with her hand while talking with her mouth full. Small mercies.]
no subject
[amusement dances across Akira's features as Kotone speaks mid-bite; he doesn't seem offended at all by the rudeness, only continuously charmed by her antics]
It's still not my ideal date spot. [cozy cafes, romantic strolls through nature, even just hanging out in his room while shooting the breeze. . . that's how he prefers to get to know his friends] . . . but it's really not that bad.
[House Finch has a bit of a mature air to it, which just makes things more exciting for him]
What about you? [time to turn things around!] What are your ideal date spots?
no subject
[There's a small hint of something in the curve of her smile when she lowers her hand, almost a kind of nostalgia, that quickly disappears as she beckons for Akira's drink and wordlessly offers her own. Swapsies? Can she try his??
Anyway, she hums, tilting her head to think about that question. Ideal date spots, huh...?]
I dunno! [she decides finally with a shrug, tossing him a sheepish smile.] I think I'd be good to go anywhere, really! Usually when I was hanging out with my friends after school, we'd go find somewhere to eat.
[Whatever drink is currently in her hand, she'll take a sip before smiling again, more fondly this time.] The person is more important than the place, I think!
no subject
[. . . he dismisses those thoughts quickly with a shake of his head, gladly offering her his drink as he takes the bright pink one in return. another sip, and-- oooh, this one isn't quite as sweet. the hint of warm bitterness underneath the fruity flavors helps!!]
Mmm. You're right; the person is way more important than the place.
[maybe that's why it's so easy for him to relax, even if House Finch wasn't his first choice of venue]
But I like sharing the things I enjoy with the people I enjoy too, you know? It feels. . . [a beat. what word would he use, here. . .?] . . . well. Kind of romantic, don't you think?
no subject
[Now that he's tried hers, it only makes sense to offer. If he prefers hers, he can have it! (She'd let him have it even if she liked it better.)
But he makes a good point about wanting to share things he enjoys with people he likes. From the way her head tilts, it's clear she's never thought of it that way, her lips parting slightly with surprise. Like, she'd always been happy to go wherever someone else wanted to go. Ken's the only one she ever picked the place for, and that's because he was a kid who needed to eat better! Everybody else, she was just happy to be there.]
Is it...? [she wonders aloud, pursing her lips to give it serious thought. Hmm...!] I dunno where I would wanna go, though...
no subject
Sure. I think pink looks pretty good on me, anyway.
[DOES IT, AKIRA. . . but he takes a nice sip of the pink drink again, this time really savoring the way the bitterness burns as it goes, sending a pleasant warmth to his belly. if he isn't careful, he'll wind up drinking the entire thing, and he doesn't want to go that far]
[especially not as he watches the journey of surprise that crosses Kotone's features. has she really never thought about it before?]
Well. . . what kinds of things do you like? [this is a question they can solve together!!] Do you play video games? Or do you like to read? Or maybe you're a budding artist--?
no subject
Maybe later! She mirrors him with a sip of her drink and grabs another canape, using it to buy herself time to think. What kinds of things does she like? She likes spending time with her friends, but that isn't going to narrow down a place. Crunching through the pastry shell, she just hums thoughtfully, shaking her head at all of Akira's options.]
I went to the arcade a lot, but usually by myself 'cause it was good for building my skills or making my Personas stronger! [Why does she talk in video game terms as if it's completely normal.] It was easier to crush people at Quiz Game than stay awake in class.
[The other two, she makes a bit of a face and shakes her head. Nope, definitely neither of those! Hmmm... she points her drink at him.]
What's your ideal date spot? [Back to him, because maybe she can draw inspiration! Help a girl out.]
no subject
[with that in mind, he places the drink aside, leaning forward to grab a mini-quiche for himself]
I sure wish my arcade had done that for me. [she is talking in video game terms to the right person! the social stat grind is real. . . wait until they talk about Social Link rankings] I mostly went there to play crane games and learn how to shoot.
[BUT ANYWAY-- he has an answer prepared for her question well before she finishes asking it. he leans back in his seat, popping the quiche into his mouth, and flashes her a small smile]
A small cafe. Preferably something that isn't too popular, with little booths where we can tuck ourselves away from everyone else.
[he is a COFFEE SHOP AU kind of guy, it seems]
no subject
But going to a small café sounds cute, especially since she already knows how well Akira can make coffee. Any café he'd take someone to would have to be good! There's a genuine warmth to her smile as he describes it, because,] That does sound romantic when you say it like that! I used to go to the mall café with my friends if I wasn't working there.
[Her smile falters, just at the corners, with the reminder that she'll never get to go to Chagall again. She'd gone there with so many friends, talked about so many important things over a cup of coffee, or tea, or hot chocolate. It's a silly little thing to get sad over, though, so she mentally shoves it aside and redoubles the strength of the smile she tosses Akira.]
Maybe we can find a café like that here! We could go together, if you want!
no subject
[she casually mentions working at a cafe, and Akira definitely wants to circle back to that eventually, to compare notes as a fellow barista. but first?]
I'd love to.
[go to one together with her, he means. she's right; he is pretty darn picky about his coffee, so he isn't going to settle for some froufrou Birdbucks seasonal drink!!]
There's one up in the Vale that I really like. I'll take you there the next time we get together. [a beat, before he brings the conversation back to its original purpose] Did that help you come up with any ideas for yourself?
no subject
[Agreeing to a second date when they're already on one? Sounds like a great success to her. And if it's a place Akira wants to share with her, all the better.
But she should have expected he'd turn the conversation back to her; he'd told her about his own, so she has to give him something, right? She hums quietly, gazing down into the drink she'd traded with Akira. What would she want to share with him...? The obvious answer is to say that she'd like to go to the café too, but she knows he'll see through that.
Maybe she could blame that bright drink for how hard it is to think of something, but that can't be it. She hasn't even had half of it, feeling more loose and comfortable than anything else. Does she really not have anything...?]
I think, [she says quietly, still looking down into her drink and imagining that she can see her own reflection in it,] ...I think it would be nice to go for ramen, maybe.
[Junpei, Akihiko, Shinjiro, the other members of SEES -- they'd all gone there at different points. Sharing a meal with someone is one of the most tangible reminders that they're alive, isn't it? Everybody needs to eat.
She closes her eyes and imagines she can feel a warm breeze and smell cherry blossoms. Her drink isn't as good a mirror as she thinks it is, because she doesn't see that her smile has faded to a ghost of it's former brightness.] ...I'd like to see the ocean, too.
[Not the beach. The view from Gekkoukan's roof that made all of her personal problems seem so small when compared to how truly big the whole world is.]
no subject
[but yes. back to Kotone and her favorite date spots! the way she manages to matrix dodge Joker homework with her answers. . . his smile softens]
I think ramen makes for a great date, too.
[even more so when it's her idea. but what she says next. . . the way her smile seems to dim, nostalgic and wistful around its edges. . .]
[. . .]
. . . I wish there was an ocean here. [Akira admits, never once tearing his gaze away from the gentleness in her expression] A real one. Not a virtual one.
[because no matter how real that simulated virtual reality island had been, it couldn't hold a candle to an actual ocean]
no subject
She can't help but give him a more genuine smile when he agrees about ramen. There's no Hagakure here of course, but maybe she can find a good place in the Early Bird Hall that she can take him to...? What a hardship, having to try lots of different ramen restaurants to find the best one, oh no...
But she nods in a wordless agreement to Akira's wish, swirling the straw in her drink as she tries to summon up her usual brightness to her smile. It's hard, though, thinking about the memories she'd left behind on that rooftop.]
My school was on an island. We had to take a monorail to get there every day. If you went up on the roof, you could look out over the sea, all the way to the horizon. [She leans down and blows a few idle bubbles through her straw, just to see if the thicker liquid can handle it. It can! And that makes it easier to brighten her smile into something more natural, she thinks.] I really liked it there. On the roof.
no subject
[. . . also, dang. she went to a high school all the way out on an island, with a beautiful view of the water from the rooftop? it sounds like the complete opposite of Shujin, or even the sleepy countryside school he is attending back in his hometown. he is mildly jealous!]
[engaged with her description, Akira scoots a little closer, until his knee bumps accidentally (but warmly) against Kotone's]
It sounds like you have a lot of good memories associated with it. And I bet the view was. . . [a pause. an exhale] Breathtaking.
1/2 closes my eyes
Not all of her memories of school are good ones. There's definitely a fair share of horrible things that happened, too! Sometimes teachers, sometimes other students, then of course the mere fact that their school was Tartarus... still. She glances up, blinks a bit with surprise when Akira's face is closer than she'd initially thought, and just gives him another smile.]
