I like spending time with my friends and learning about other people. I just want to enjoy whatever time we have together!
Live every day to the fullest! Let's explore the resort together!
I've been told I'm a good leader and listener. I'm pretty good at rescuing other people's cooking and baking disasters, and I can knit and sew. I can fight, but I'd prefer not to. My other talents are a secret. π
I don't really like to read, but I'll watch any kind of movie with my friends! I used to work part-time at a movie theater. I love listening to all kinds of music, especially J-pop, electronic, classical, and foreign music. πΆ
As for food... I love both ramen and sweets, but I'll try anything! Take me to your favorite food place! π
I like to keep my options open! π Someone I can have a good time with, no matter what we're doing.
I don't really know! Buy me a drink and help me decide! π

[If they have the time, or rather if Kotone wishes to return the favour when it comes to stories, Loki would very much like to hear the story of her Loki. Heβll find the blue skin part particularly interesting.]
It is nice to meet you as well. And please, Loki is fine. After all, you did win the bid. I feel there is no need for such formalities now. [Heβs pleased to see that he seems to have impressed her with his set up. Heβs not overly familiar with picnics either, but it seemed like an appropriate idea for their meeting.] I did. I hope my selections are to your liking. If there is anything you donβt like, or something else you would prefer, please let me know. I can change it out easily.
[He gives her a nod when she looks back and gestures for her to make herself comfortable.]

[With permission given, she takes a seat on the blanket, tucking her legs comfortably under herself and waiting to see if he'll join her before reaching for anything. ]
Huh? Change it out? [She tilts her head, a little confused, and looks around as if searching for servants or somebody nearby who could take things away if she decided she didn't like them. Not that she would do something like that! It means a lot that he would offer to do something like this at all, regardless of her winning a silly bid or not. She's not used to people doing things simply for her enjoyment, after all, and she doesn't want to seem greedy.] Don't worry, I think it's perfect!
no subject
Kotone it is then.
[Once she is seated, he takes a spot next to her, sitting cross-legged as he faces her.]
Yes. I can conjure up or obtain any item with my telekinesis. It is quite simple for me. [He's rather casual about it, though he knows this ability can be startling to non-magical beings.] It's really no bother, so long as you enjoy my offerings.
[Loki recognizes that it sounds a bit like she's the god and he's the servant, but he doesn't try to correct himself. They are hardly in the world of gods now and she won him fair and square.]

[She claps her hands together and beams, impressed by even the prospect of somebody having telekinesis. The idea of a god giving her offerings is a little funny, honestly, her eyes sparkling with some amusement, but she doesn't comment on it, instead just giving him another smile and reaching to help herself to some food. A scone with jam seems appropriate for a picnic outside, right?]
I bet being able to summon anything you want has been really useful for you. Maybe you could tell me a story about when you used that power? [She takes a bite, letting out a pleased little noise that it's not just a token gesture, but delicious, too.] I only ever really got to talk to the Loki I knew when we were fighting together, so I never got to know him that well outside of that...

[He smiles honestly. He always enjoys impressing people with his magic. There is just something that is so wonderful about seeing the awe on someone's face when they see what he can do. It makes him feel special.
He waits until she has chosen some food before taking something for himself, some bread and cheese and some grapes, popping one of the grapes into his mouth as he listens to her.]
Oh, it is very useful. Would you like a story from here or from outside? It is something I have used quite a lot, in everything from taking a book down off a shelf while not having to stand to retrieve it, to arming myself for battle. And everything in between. I would like to say, it is quite entertaining when a foe has snuck up on me, or at least they think they have, and figure I am unarmed, only to have my daggers appear in each hand.

[She doesn't even have to think about her answer; sure, things inside the resort from his perspective might be interesting, but a god has to have seen and lived through so many things she could only imagine, right? But then, of course, she can't leave well enough alone, so she adds,] Can you show me your daggers, too? I never saw my Loki use a physical weapon.
[Considering the resort saw fit to give her back her Evoker, if not her naginata, she assumes he's found his daggers, too.]
no subject
I'm afraid I do not have my daggers, though I could show you an illusion of what they were like. It is possible your Loki was older than I am. I met an older version of myself who wisely mentioned that my magic is much more powerful than physical weapons and they often are the reason why I haven't always succeeded in my goals.
[Mostly though, Loki hasn't seen a reason to try and get his daggers back. A strange thing, now that he thinks of it. They had always felt like an extension of himself, but he also hasn't really had a need for them here. Perhaps he should look into getting them though, even if just for old times sake. He does still think they are exceptional daggers.]
As for the story, I'm going to tell one I haven't told anyone before. It is much more recent, but also very special to me.
I KNOW THIS IS VERY OLD I'M SO SORRY
[Now that's interesting in and of itself, that he's met other Lokis, had conversations with them and learned from them. Just like she has with Minato and the people who knew him as the leader of SEES, instead of her. She nods along, both in interest in seeing even an illusory form of his daggers, and an acknowledgement that yeah, at least her Loki's magic was really powerful. She'd kept him with her long after she'd had more powerful Personas just because he had such a useful variety of spells!
She sits up straighter at the promise of the story, anticipation only building at the idea that it's something he hasn't told anyone. Whether it's true or not, that he would even think to say so is special by itself. That he thinks it special is all the more meaningful.] Please do!
Absolutely no worries! I'm behind myself.
He can't help but smile as she sits up a bit straighter, clearly very interesting in hearing a story. He only hopes she likes this one. It doesn't always paint him in a good light, but he thinks it might help her know him better and even differentiate him from her own Loki.
And it is kind of fun.]
When I was younger, I was not a very nice person. Most people did not like me, but that was mostly my own doing. I was, you might say, a difficult child. I never felt quite like a I fit in with my family and it was clear that my father favoured my older brother. As much a I adored my mother, who did have a clear affinity for me, I also strove for my father's acceptance, and always felt like I was failing to achieve such things.
This lead me to do many things I now regret.

Something in her eyes softens in understanding when he describes himself as a child, nodding along without interrupting. After her parents' death, she'd tried to work really hard to be accepted by foster families, orphanages, or even more distant relatives. It's hard not to empathize, a hand going to her heart where she knows her own version of Odin yet lingers within her.]
It must have been pretty hard to live up to his expectations, huh? [She tilts her head curiously, hand still resting atop her own heart. Odin's the Emperor Arcana, the Persona she'd obtained only through befriending her friend on the student council who'd held himself and everyone around him to exacting standards.] Especially with somebody like Thor around.
[If Odin was the ultimate Persona of the Emperor Arcana, Thor had been her ultimate Persona of the Chariot Arcana before, the indomitable force that pushes forward no matter what.]

[A small, sad smile crosses his face as he stares out past her, thinking of how it had been back then. It still hurt to think about, but not as much as it had before.]
When Thor and I were very young, but children, Odin told us that we were both destined to be king. I took that to heart. I believed it meant that I could possible rule Asgard one day and it wasn't for sure going to be Thor who took over once Odin was gone. It wasn't until I was much older that I discovered I was wrong.
You see, I was missing a core piece of information, it was never Odin's intention to make me king of Asgard, but I was first in line for another throne. It was all part of a plan he had for me and for the Nine, but one he had not thought I was worthy to be informed of.
no subject
I guess he didn't mean being a king here, huh? [She sticks her tongue out a little in an attempt to make him laugh, or at least crack a smile. For her, at least, finding something to smile about even in the face of a sad memory, is one of the most powerful things. Even if it's not really a good joke.]
The Odin I know seems like... he thinks he knows better than everybody. [She puffs out a cheek in annoyance, clearly not liking the idea of that kind of person (even though she's sometimes guilty of it herself).]
So what did you do...?
So sorry for the delay. I've been sick.
Loki laughs a small but genuine laugh at her joke and shakes his head.] No, I don't believe so. Odin knows much about the Nine, but I imagine even he would be surprised by the existence of a place such as this.
[He laughs again and nods.] Yes, that is certainly what he was like in my time as well. I suppose I can't fault him for it. Being the ruler of all worlds can go to ones head. I know the idea of possibly ruling one certainly went to mine.
I did not handle it well at all. I set up a plot to have my brother exiled and then I tried to murder him. I also confronted Odin about my adoption which resulted in him going into the Odin-sleep prematurely at which point I took over rule of Asgard and set a plan to have my birth people invade Asgard and then murdered my birth father thinking it would make it look like I had saved both Odin and Asgard as a whole all in a futile attempt to get approval from my Asgardian family.
[He pauses for a moment then.] No, that's not quite right. I really just wanted Odin's approval. Needless to say, it did not work.
[A massive understatement, but he's not sure if he really wants to tell her that he tried to take his own life, after a fashion, once that had happened. He's already told her much more about his past misdeeds than anyone else here and he's not totally sure why. Maybe just because he doesn't really know her. It's like practice for when he tells some of the people he's closer with here.]
