I don't really like to read, but I'll watch any kind of movie with my friends! I used to work part-time at a movie theater. I love listening to all kinds of music, especially J-pop, electronic, classical, and foreign music. 🎶
As for food... I love both ramen and sweets, but I'll try anything! Take me to your favorite food place! 😉

That's the idea. With hearts, I think it gets kind of... [hmm. how to describe it.] Impulsive, almost. Irrational.
[That's how it feels like to him, at least. But-- he doesn't usually let it get farther than that, so he doesn't have any better insight. The way she says that seems really...telling, though. Feeling worse. On some level, Yu gets it; he's a person who tries to keep his own emotions contained. It sucks, really sucks, when they start bleeding over. His thoughts narrow back to their joined hands, how comfortable that feels.]
If I can help... [ah. hmm. maybe not the right way to word that.] If you want me to help, that is. I'd like to.
[Which is still a little awkward, but at least it's getting the point across.]

["Impulsive" and "irrational"... impulsivity isn't an unfamiliar feeling for her, but irrationality isn't something she wants anyone to see from her. If it only affected her, she could probably figure out a way to handle it, but if it started to affect the people around her...

[Weren't they supposed to get curry? And yet the way she shifts her weight on her seat hints that she's ready to stand up and get going.]

I think...they only amplify things that are already there. [His fingers tighten around hers, briefly, a squeeze that attempts to convey that he gets why it would be important to her.] I can't imagine you would hurt anyone, Kotone.

Anyway, the moment doesn't last, because Kotone Shiomi is a menace. At least she's a cute and endearing menace -- Yu's response is a laugh, even as his face goes red from her choice of words. He's grateful for it though, this tendency to break the ice that she seems to have. If you can't laugh in the fuck resort, where can you laugh, right? He tips his head toward the door.]

Maybe curry after! [she teases, instead of lingering on that more serious topic. Like, what point is there when they're about to quite literally fuck around and find out first hand? Speaking of hands, though, she squeezes his in return, gratitude visible in her eyes as she hops off her seat and pulls him back toward the exit.]
Thanks, Yu. [But that's enough of that. She turns to walk backwards so she can look at him, drawing another playful smile to her lips as if it really isn't all that serious at all.] So, my room or yours?

It feels right, that little quip in response. All four of them seem to share that aversion to too much openness, in some way, whether it's conscious or not. Teasing helps to break the tension, to remind him that it doesn't have to be that serious.]
Understood, [he says, and even the seriousness in his tone is kind of...not serious. The quintessential straight man, so to speak.
It takes absurdly little pulling for Yu to go along with her, playful smile and all. Whether it's genuine or whether she's trying to put on a brave face or something like that, it's true -- there's no shame in something being light and casual. Especially in this place. Especially when the alternative is The Horror of Emotional Vulnerability. As for the question,] Mine is probably a bit closer.

At least she knows now to blame it on that innocent-looking mark on her wrist. It doesn't make the feeling go away, but it makes it just that little bit easier to ignore.]
Then lead the way, Leader! [One more tease for the road, as well as a reminder -- in this, at least, he's the expert, if only by virtue of time spent. Maybe she should call him senpai? Or at least she should slow down to let him walk ahead of her instead of forging ahead as she normally does.]
