[It's not hard to give small glances over at Kotone as she slices the fruits because really, he's just mixing a bowl and that's not hard. Honestly, he barely feels himself whisking when much of his focus is on her, with thoughts of the conversation he had with Dazai unfortunately making themselves known. He said he needed time and maybe Kotone does too, especially if she just lost a friend. Seems kind of a bad moment to bring up 'hey would you want to date??' if she just lost someone important to her.
